-Achieved rank of Eagle Scout Feb. 2018. Completed Eagle project by organizing 23 scouts and adults to raise money and build outdoor tables to improve outdoor classroom space for public school.
-Mentored and instructed younger scouts in leadership, first aid, life skills, and camping skills.
-Organized and planned trips and troop events for 52 scouts and adults including hiking, camping, skiing, rafting, swimming, cooking.
-Managed neighborhood Scouting for Food drive, obtaining over 2 tons of food for Loaves and Fishes food bank.
-Recruited 4 new members to Troop 112.
-Raised money for troop in annual fund drives for five years.
Playing For Others
-Selected to join a youth leadership development and service organization, using artistic talents to support local non-profits and build personal friendships with individual youths with disabilities.
-Led a design team that produced and marketed products (including a tote bag) to raise awareness and build connections across neighborhoods in Charlotte. Also created the photograph that became the lead example for the program, driving sales of hundreds of tote bags and raising funds for non-profit partners.
-Created and performed in musical productions to support local non-profits.
-Selected to work with disabled youth as a mentor and buddy.
-Enhanced leadership skills through group activities and mentoring.
Myers Park Ultimate Frisbee Team
